About Your Dale Hollow Getaway

Your Dale Hollow Getaway is a great place to unwind after a day on Dale Hollow Lake, visiting Dale Hollow State Park Resort, boating on the Cumberland River, or enjoying any of the sites and attractions of this wonderful area of the country.  The cabin sits on 8.5 acres with a sloping, fenced pasture surrounded by woods.  From the front porch you have a mile-long view of the countryside and rolling pastures.

Our cabin has recently been remodeled with you, our Dale Hollow Guests in mind; everything in our cabin is new for you.  The cabin can accommodate up to sixteen guests with its 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms.  The upstairs and downstairs living rooms both have 47" HD Flat Screen TV's with HD DVR's, DVD/VCR players and Dish Network Satellite with HBO and movie channels.  Our goal was to create a getaway where everyone can be happy doing what they want, from enjoying the back deck and sitting area or playing cards, to watching TV and movies or playing video games.  Wireless DSL is also available for your convenience.

Our Living Room has a new sectional couch with two recliners and a queen size hideaway bed that seats six.  We also have another new couch with two recliners that seats three.  The Kitchen Table behind seats up to 8.  We also offer a cordless telephone and answering machine just in case you need to keep in touch with anyone.  Please remember to bring a pre-paid calling card to make long distance calls.

Our kitchen was designed with cooks in mind.  We have all new appliances, including a smooth top range/oven with warmer, large refrigerator with bottom freezer, and a large microwave.  Just outside the kitchen in the carport is a large 4-burner stainless steel grill with side burner and warming tray so you can feed the whole group in a matter of minutes instead of hours!  We also have a new, large dishwasher, so whoever has clean-up detail can get back to enjoying their night as quickly as possible!  The kitchen is fully-stocked with new pots, pans, silverware, dinnerware, utensils, and bake pans for sixteen.  We also provide some basic herbs/condiments, flour, etc., in case you forget to bring them.  If you have any questions about any amenities that we might have for your stay that we have not listed please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We have also tried to think of ways to make other chores easier for you on your vacation.  We have a front-loader washer and dryer so larger loads of laundry can be washed and dried faster.  We also provide the detergent needed so you don’t have to worry about bringing any with you.  An iron and ironing board are also provided in case you need to get ready for a more formal occasion during your stay.

Outside in the carport we have a large glass top table that seats six, four lounge chairs and a long bench.  So there is plenty of room for anyone that wants to sit outside in the shade or enjoy the evening.  On the back deck there are three tables and over 10 chairs.  Half of the back deck has direct sunlight during the late afternoon .  On the front deck we have two rockers where you can sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
